About Mike Kline aka Notkalvin

What initially started as a hobby in 2011, quickly transformed into a passion and a career. Kline says once he discovered his love for photography, his life changed. He rarely leaves the house without his camera and is always looking for new things to shoot and new techniques to try.

Mike shoots a wide variety of things; landscapes, skylines, social events, headshots, architecture, product photography, food, and even the occasional wedding. He is also quite adept with Photoshop and often tells his clients, "If you can dream it up, I can make it happen". Mike loves a challenge.

Mike Kline has also authored two books, combining his love of photography with his enjoyment of a good bar. His first book, Watering Holes: Your Guide to Detroit's Bars, Pubs, and Taverns, came out at the end of 2017 and has been a raging success. At the end of June, 2018, Mike's second book: Watering Holes: Your Guide to Ann Arbor's Bars, Pubs, and Taverns, was published. More information can be found here:
